Our Love Story
We’ve had a beautiful love story that began in 2022 and has blossomed into something truly special. It’s been an incredible journey, and now we can’t wait to celebrate our love with you on August 16, 2025.
How We Met
Michael & Genius never knew each other until their paths crossed in April 2022. Genius had just moved to a new home, which happened to be close to Michael's place. A casual introduction soon led to friendly conversations, and it didn't take long for a connection to grow.
By September 2022, they took the leap from friendship to love, and their relationship blossomed into something truly special.
The Proposal
After a beautiful journey together, Michael had been planning the perfect moment. On a memorable day in September 2024, Michael got down on one knee and asked Genius to spend forever together.
With love, joy, and excitement filling the air, Genius said yes, marking the beginning of their forever.
Our Journey
April 2022 - First Meeting
Michael and Genius met for the first time when Genius moved close to Michael’s place. Their journey began here.
September 2022 - Started Dating
Their friendship blossomed into love, and they officially started dating in September 2022.
December 2022 - First Outing
Their first trip together marked the start of many adventures as a couple.
April 2023 - Anniversary Celebration
They celebrated one year from their first meeting, growing closer every day.
December 2023 - Met the Families
Both officially met with theur partner's families for the first time, cementing the relationship further.
September 2024 - The Proposal
Michael proposed, and Genius said yes, starting the journey to their wedding day.
December 2024 - The Lobola Day
A step closer towards their wedding was taken as Michael and his family went to Genius' family for the lobola negotiations.
August 2025 - The Wedding Day
They will say “I do” and begin their married life together on August 16, 2025.
